Surenda Varma, M.D., vice chair, Pediatrics and distinguished professor at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, will present "Thank God There is a Hole in Donut -- Current Initiatives in Childhood Obesity" as part of the Charaka Lectureship. President E. Gordon Gee will officially welcome healthcare startup Good Measures to the WVU Health Sciences Innovation Center, at an open house from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Oct. 4.
