DreamCatchers Music Therapy Spring Performance

Wednesday, April 17, 2019

Join us in Upside Down Town where everything is just the way we like it – backwards, sideways, topsy turned! Our journey begins in the city of Jonesville and follows two princes. Along the way they meet some characters who begin to change their minds about what is right and what is wrong. Soon, the people from Jonesville uncover the beauty behind being different and having the courage to be themselves.

DreamCatchers is a music therapy & musical theatre program for children of all abilities. The program provides children and teens ages 5-18 the opportunity to participate in an extra-curricular musical theatre experience in an exciting, safe, and supportive environment for self-expression at low cost to families.

Plan to attend this free, spring performance! Shows will be held in the Okey Patteson Auditorium at the WVU Health Sciences Center on Saturday, April 27th at 2pm and Sunday, April 28th at 3:30pm.

DreamCatchers is a collaborative program between the Center for Excellence in Disabilities, College of Creative Arts and the School of Medicine. Students from Music Therapy, Occupational Therapy and other disciplines serve as mentors and staff.
