    Steve Hoffman, M.D., was recently named vice president and associate dean for Clinical Programs in the School of Medicine, effective July 1, in addition to his roles as executive director of Clinical Program Development and professor in the Department of Medicine.

  • Construction will begin on Ruby Memorial Hospital’s Emergency Department

    The first phase of construction entails new work at the existing exterior ambulance and walk-in drop-off area on the north side of the ED. As a result, pedestrian and vehicular traffic patterns will be temporarily changed, but at all times access will be maintained for ambulances and walk-in patients.

  • WVU Medicine breaks ground for Fairmont clinic

  • Finding Wellness initiative aimed at improving personal health

    Finding Wellness is a new, free program for people who are ready to make permanent lifestyle changes to improve personal health. This six-week program is open to anyone in the community and meets from 4-6 p.m. Tuesday afternoons at WVU Medicine University Town Centre. Monthly supermarket shopping events take place on the second Friday of every month.

  • Asbestos abatement underway during HSC Cafe renovation

    Asbestos abatement is currently underway in the area of the Health Sciences Café renovation. Due to the asbestos abatement containment, the hallway will be narrowed on the HSC North ground floor in the construction area.
