Balance, pointe preparedness, core endurance and cardiovascular recovery are just a few of the physical markers health professionals evaluate while looking at a dancer’s overall fitness. WVU in the News: West Virginia University Hospitals, Health Sciences Center to receive more than $23M in federal funding

The West Virginia University Health System and WVU’s Health Sciences Center will receive federal funding totaling more than $23 million. The funding will support eight projects at WVU Hospitals, Inc., including WVU Medicine Children’s Hospital and the WVU Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute, as well as an award for the WVU Health Sciences Center.
