    For patients undergoing body contouring surgery to remove excess abdominal skin after massive weight loss, use of GLP-1 weight-loss medications may have mixed effects on complication risks, suggests a study in the April issue of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery®, the official medical journal of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS). The journal is published in the Lippincott portfolio by Wolters Kluwer.

    Supporters of West Virginia University made a record number of gifts and contributed more than $22 million during the University’s ninth Day of Giving Wednesday (March 25). Over 24 hours, alumni and friends provided more than 11,000 gifts to make an impact across the University system, including WVU Health Sciences, WVU Medicine, WVU Athletics, and regional campuses in Keyser and Beckley.
